Sometimes I find it hard to locate fall decor that is not all leaves and pumpkins. I couldn’t be happier with the this country feel picture frame decor, it has just the right amount of distressed vintage feel and yes this is where it is at in my home.
The frame is an 8×8 amazon purchase that I used some chalk paint on the sides for texture. the base layer is Country Lane Designer Series Paper cut to 8×8. Pearlized Doilies were sponged ON THE BACK with Blackberry Bliss Ink and a Sponge Dauber cut in half and tuck under the tin tile. To make the Tin Tile start with a 6×6 of Galvanized metal paper. This fits exactly in the Tin Tile Dynamic Textures Impressions Embossing folder. Emboss with the Big Shot. Next using a square nail file block sand off some of the paper. With a sponge dauber distress the sanded areas of the tile with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso Ink. Layer a piece of scrap Country Lane DSP under a layer of Mint Macaron cardstock that has been texturized by sponging over the Chicken Wire Element with Crumb Cake Ink and around the edges. Adhere layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals and snail Adhesive respectively. On a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock stamp the upper half of the cotton blooms stamp in Crushed Curry. Stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink by first stamping off on scrap paper. Using scissors shave off edges to further distress the cardstock. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensional with a small bend in the center. Using a sponge dauber to hold the Braided Linen Trim color by running over the Blackberry Bliss Ink pad. Tie in a bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
