Dashing Deer Cards

Deer are everywhere (Especially here in North East Ohio- only those are the real ones)! Both cards feature the Dashing Dear Bundle with the Foil Edged Cards and Envelopes.

Starting with the super simple card on the left cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to just fit inside the silver foil. Of course I didn’t write down the measurements on my cheat sheet but I would guess 3 3/4 x 5. Stamp the patterned deer in Mint Macaron (I love this color and am so glad they brought it back). Emboss the stamped image with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the Big Shot. Adhere the cardstock to the card base with snail. Make a bow with the Mint Macaron Nature’s Twine and adhere with a glue dot.

For the card on the right cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock 3 1/2 inches square. Using the technique below with Rich Razzelberry and the Swirls and Curls embossing folder emboss the cardstock. Cut into a circular shape using Layering Circles

Technique Alert: Colored Embossing Folder. Ink the side of the embossing folder marked with the Stampin’ Up! Logo. Place the card stock inside and emboss via the big shot.

Using the thinlits cut the deer out of gold glimmer paper. **TIP- place the backside of the glimmer paper to the cutting side of the die. Your image will cut cleaner and be easier to remove from the die** Cut a small ribbon of gold foil sheet. Cut a square of Whisper White cardstock 1 x 3 and stamp the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry. Adhere everything with snail except the deer use dimensionals.
