Why I love Free as a Bird- Part 1

With the Free as a Bird Stamp set being my give away this month you must see why I love it!

This card was not a “winner” in my last card challenge with Linda Bauwin but the simple image is tops in my book. There are a couple of things that in retrospect I wish would have been done differently but sometimes creativity doesn’t happen all at once (which would be why craft rooms no matter how well organized are messy-everything is a work in progress!)

Step 1: Fold a 1/2 sheet of Whisper White Thick and burnish with a bone folder.

Step 2: Stamp the bird/branch image towards the fold followed by the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink

Step 3: Using the Cloud Pattern Decorative Mask to block the card, fill in the desired clouds with Shimmery White Embossing Paste and a spatula. **Remember to clean the mask and spatula right away**.

Step 4: Once the paste is dry color with Stampin Blends (read have coloring therapy time). Yes I did color the WHOLE background with Balmy Blue Stampin Blends.

Step 5: Give to someone great!
