A special thank you to Linda Bauwin for sending me this gorgeous card using the new Painted Seasons stamp set. I am so excited to show off all the awesome cards you can make with it. This card uses the Organdy Ribbon Combo from Sale-A-Bration that was previously sold out... BUT IT'S BACK IN STOCK!!!! Hurry and get yours before sale a bration ends!
I LOVE THIS CARD! It wasn't what I set out to make, it just sort of came together and I could not be more pleased. Now if only they all made me this happy ;). So what worked differently than yesterday's flowers? Let me tell you about the 2 techniques for making flowers your must try!
Previously posted was a crackled tea cup by Su Mohr that I loved so much that I bought the Crackle Paint Stamp (ok, I was going to get it anyway). Above is my version of the crackled tea pot and while I am still playing with it for a few more ideas I wanted to point out a couple of differences. 1. The crackling was stamped off in mine so it wasn't as heavy. (Personally I want it to be only on some of the tea pot but I haven't figured that out yet). 2. I distressed some of the pot. 3. check out tomorrow's post with more crackling plus I really like the flower (same colors as above) better because I used a different technique to make the different colors.
While cleaning up my craft room this weekend I found this card I had made while at OnStage our bi-annual conference. Personally, I enjoy doing needle point but I was not in love with the items in the suite at the time. Now that I see it again, it seems to be growing on me so of course I had to share!
While cleaning up my craft room this weekend I found this card that I forgot to post last month??!! Still today is the perfect day to wish you a lovely day.
