Sidney (the family calls her B) is kinda of like that.  Traditional Valentine’s/love stamps are not really my kind of thing. One thing though that B and I agree on is this suite, it is romantic, sophisticated and well just pretty. Soft hues and delicate designs are what make this suite so je ne sais quoi. Of course you know we can’t completely agree so she leans more towards the Petal Pink coordination while I am jumping straight into the Pool Party. This suite is unapologetically girly, not my normal go to but there are lots of flowers and that IS me.

4. UNDER MY UMBRELLA AND TIMELESS TULIPS BUNDLES PAGE 42 & 43

The reason they are so high up on my list though is that they can be used for all kinds of occasions. The Under My Umbrella has you covered for Spring, Birthdays, Showers (baby and wedding) and Sympathy. Timeless Tulips could not have been named better. That bundle will make cards for Mother’s day, Easter, Spring, Birthdays, Sympathy and any day you want to just say hello! Both sets can create cards at all levels of crafting from the simplest stamps/ink/paper cards to gorgeous layered WOW cards without alot of work. These will be the focus of my April card class.

5. SINGLE STAMP SET FAVORITES

        A. WITTY-CISMS- page 37. I can’t help but LOVE sassy/punny/snarky sets only this one has simple sentiments too that with a little coloring will make cards in a flash.

         B. OUTDOOR BBQ-page 50. This one screams Dad jokes! Happy Father’s check but also so much more … did you see the “love is in the air…”. I won’t ruin the punch line but I count at least 4 reasons to send a card made with this stamp set. Spoiler alert! Look for a class with these three stamp sets in May.

         C. POSITIVE THOUGHTS-page 23. To me it is just calm, clean, understated and really really lovely. It will be the card I make for Lea and Julie, my partners for the annual fundraiser we do at B’s school, Hershey Montessori. They are definately the calm to my type A chaos. 6. SIDNEY’S FAVORITES FROM THE CATALOG

         A. TROPICAL OASIS SUITE-page 38. My girl loves the beach and all things summer. While B is looking for her flip flops, I would be asking “Where is my fruity adult beverage?!”… hold the coconut please. Palm trees and hibiscus always make me think of where I grew up in California. Plumeria of course reminds me of our honeymoon in Hawaii. Hmm seems like I have an anniversary card or some to send back to the family. B. BEST DRESSED SUITE- page 54. The cat is out of the bag! B was able to purchase her own real makeup just the other day. Like most girls her age, fashion, make up and appearance are her world! The sentiments are super fun, the designer series paper is fabulous (as always) and the dies not only cut out the stamped images but make purses/backpacks, wait what?!
