Another card from my “masculine” themed card class and while this card was CASED from Libby Fens I have a great technique to share to make your glasses shine like real glass.
- Start with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch Very Vanilla card base.
- Layer with a 4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of In Good Taste DSP and adhere with Stampin” seal. I can’t decide if this is my favorite designer series paper of the annual catalog but if not it is a close second!
- Cut a 3×4 1/2 piece of Early Espresso and dry emboss using the Old World Paper Embossing folder and a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.
- The top layer is a 3×4 inch piece of Cinnamon Cider that you will use Tuxedo Black Momento ink to stamp the “CHEERS TO YOU” sentiment from the Whiskey Business Stamp Set and an H block.
- Now for the good stuff, the decanter and the glass! Start with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamp the images with Tuxedo Black Momento ink.
- Color the image with LIGHT Cinnamon Cider and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. The Pool Party gives the glass the blue/green appearance. To create the variation of color in whiskey add multiple layers of Cinnamon Cider.
- Fussy cut the images with paper snips.
- **TECHNIQUE** Press the bottle and glass images into the pad of Versamark Ink until the untire surface is covered.
- Coat images in Clear Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat with a heat tool. Repeat until the glassyness of the bottle and glass are where you want it.
- Adhere the bottle to the Cinnamon Cider cardstock with Stampin’ Seal and wrap entire piece with the metallic ribbon (copper) from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon combo.
- Adhere the glass to the Cinnamon Cider cardstock above the metallic ribbon with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
