I LOVE THIS CARD! It wasn't what I set out to make, it just sort of came together and I could not be more pleased. Now if only they all made me this happy ;). So what worked differently than yesterday's flowers? Let me tell you about the 2 techniques for making flowers your must try!
Previously posted was a crackled tea cup by Su Mohr that I loved so much that I bought the Crackle Paint Stamp (ok, I was going to get it anyway). Above is my version of the crackled tea pot and while I am still playing with it for a few more ideas I wanted to point out a couple of differences. 1. The crackling was stamped off in mine so it wasn't as heavy. (Personally I want it to be only on some of the tea pot but I haven't figured that out yet). 2. I distressed some of the pot. 3. check out tomorrow's post with more crackling plus I really like the flower (same colors as above) better because I used a different technique to make the different colors.
This card was created for a challenge submission, this challenge was to use Sale-a-bration items. Well I LOVE me some tea, all day long and it is typically Plum Green tea but really I love almost all of it!
